The IK Approach
The word-of-mouth strategy led to IK Trucking Ltd’s exponential growth and outstanding business partnerships. However, it wasn’t always easy operating in a stressful, fast-paced, and expensive industry such as trucking. Multiple companies that provided IK Trucking Ltd with loads would have a 60-day pay period, minimum, while both expected and unexpected expenses would occur more frequently. IK Trucking Ltd had no loans or lines of credit due to the owner’s immigration status. Hence, financial hardships would occur.

The Beginning Of The Journey
IK Trucking Ltd was born when its founder, Ivan Korosec, became a self-employed owner-operator in the oil and gas industry. Because the founder grew his previous construction business to 120 employees, he could use his knowledge and expertise to pivot out of the unstable oil and gas industry quickly. Currently, IK Trucking Ltd operates throughout Canada and the United States, hauling grocery items (e.g. produce, deli, meat, seafood, flowers) and generating a seven-digit gross profit annually.

Customer Service & Public Safety
Many trucking companies throughout Canada have massive lines of credit so that they can cover the gap between their pay period and due dates on expenses. If they’re not covered, the costs such as payrolls or truck leases can ultimately bankrupt a trucking company. Since IK Trucking Ltd didn’t have the luxury of having “good debt,” the company had no choice but to complete loads impeccably.
